In France, personal data is protected, in particular, by act No. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, act No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.
When using the website, the following data may be collected:
- The URL of links via which the user accessed the website,
- the user’s Internet provider,
- the user’s internet protocol (IP).
In all cases, MAT COMPANY only collects personal data about the user for the needs of certain services offered by the website. The user is fully aware that he is providing this data, in particular when it is he who enters it. In this case, it is specified to the website user whether the provision or the non provision of this data is compulsory.
In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 and following of act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 concerning data freedom, users have a right to access, rectify and oppose personal data by sending a written and signed letter accompanied by a copy of the identity document and indicating the address to which a reply should be sent.
None of the user’s personal data is published without the user’s knowledge, exchanged, transferred, handed over, or sold to third parties on whatever support. Only the hypothesis of the purchase of MAT COMPANY and its rights would allow the transmission of the afore-mentioned data to a potential buyer who, in turn, would be under the same obligation with regard to the conservation and modification of data concerning the website user.
The database is protected by the provisions of the act of 1 July 1998 transposing directive 96/9 of 11 March 1996 concerning the legal protection of databases.
